Mountain or the beach? Where would you vacay?

I love the beach and mountains, but I would prefer to be at the beach because it calms my mind and gives me the space to relax in warm weather.

Mountain or beach? Why not both? When being in the mountains, I’ve felt wonder of how these massive, breathtaking vistas have formed over eons. It’s almost intimidating!

I seem to be most drawn to the beach/bodies of water. The sounds of the waves or the texture of the sand and wind in one’s hair. It is peaceful to me. (Yet, those vast oceans have depths at which humans have not yet explored! Also, potentially daunting!).

I adore them both!

I don’t love vacations. Take me away from my knowns, expecteds, and safe spaces and I become a bit controlling with a strong desire to just sleep. Mountains is the lesser of two evils because sand is the real devil. Who honestly thinks sand in all the cracks and crevices is enjoyable? Where are my sensory issue buddies here?
